As a Senior Accountant/Analyst, you’ll be responsible for preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, processing payments, and providing support to management for financial accounting, reporting systems, procedures, and policies. The ideal candidate should have a finance background and strong problem-solving skills that are data-driven. As a member of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to our mission of promoting financial inclusion in the MENA region.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Play a crucial role in promoting systems/process development within the department.</li><li>Collaborate with operations business partners to support the decision-making process.</li><li>Coordinate with external auditors on quarterly and annual audits.</li><li>Ensure daily banking reconciliation is completed by the end of the day.</li><li>Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the crypto industry and help to identify new opportunities and risks.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Basic Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to independently solve problems in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment.</li><li>Excellent computer and presentation skills with attention to detail.</li><li>Proven communication skills (written and verbal) with fluency in English.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/MBA/CPA or ACCA.</li><li>Significant experience of 4-6 years in a fast-paced organization.</li><li>Past experience in audit and statutory reporting is highly desirable.</li><li>Goal-driven, result-oriented, self-motivated, able to step back and look at the bigger picture.</li><li>Hands-on experience in accounting and reconciliation processes.</li><li>Strong desire to learn and grow in the crypto ecosystem.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>At CoinMENA, we’re proud to be an equal opportunities employer.
