<p><strong><u>Job Title: Senior Accountant – Food and Beverage (remotely work from home)</u></strong></p><p>Salary range: 900 – 1200 USD (full package)</p><p>Weekend: As per Lebanon (Saturday and Sunday)</p><p>Holidays: As per Lebanon</p><p>Vacation days: As per Lebanese law</p><p><br></p><p><u>Job Summary:</u></p><p>We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with a minimum of five years’ experience in the food and beverage industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of accounts receivables, accounts payables, and financial reporting. They will also have a strong track record of accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring that all financial data is recorded and reported in a timely and accurate manner.</p><p><br></p><p><u>Key Responsibilities:</u></p><p>- Manage all aspects of accounts receivable and accounts payable including posting invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely payments and collections.</p><p>- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with <u>IFRS.</u></p><p>- Conduct regular reviews of the company’s financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations to management.</p><p>- Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.</p><p>- Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial models.</p><p>- Participate in external audits and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.</p><p>- Provide training and mentorship to junior accounting staff.</p><p><br></p><p><u>Qualifications:</u></p><p>- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</p><p>- Accounting Certification preferred(CPA certification, CA, ACCA…)</p><p>- Minimum of five years’ experience in the food and beverage industry.</p><p>- Strong understanding of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and financial reporting.</p><p>- Excellent organizational and time management skills.</p><p>- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.</p><p>- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</p><p>- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</p><ul><li>- Excellent understanding and hands-on skills in <u>Microsoft excel</u> (building financial reports using advanced if functions, sumifs and mapping between COA, TB and each of the income statement and balance sheet)</li></ul>
