Job Description
<p><strong>JOB ROLE:</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>To assist the Finance Division by providing timely, accurate & comprehensive accounting and financial analysis.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>DUTIES SUMMARY:</strong></p><p>- Prepares the monthly income statement and the balance sheet to produce accurate and timely financial information which meets regulatory and business requirements.</p><p>- Performs month and year-end closing and report all results to management.</p><p>- Maintains day-to-day control of all accounting systems to ensure the complete and accurate processing of financial data in accordance with internal procedures.</p><p>- Prepares the quarterly tax declaration accurately with no errors in order to avoid penalties by the government and in a timely manner.</p><p>- Control on NSSF declaration and ensures monthly settlement in order to avoid penalties.</p><p>- Actively participates in the interim audit and develops an action plan to tackle audit recommendations.</p><p>- Actively participates in the annual audit to prepare for the yearly fiscal declaration</p><p>- Manages properly the company’s asset and develops policies and procedures to ensure assets are well managed and controlled.</p><p>- Ensures that payment terms are met on the Accounts Receivable level with proper monitoring of the outstanding balances</p><p>- Ensures effective management of suppliers’ payments.</p><p>- Monitors Inventory Management and stock movement.</p><p>- Ensures that bookkeeping and record management are done in an organized scientific way.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>REQUIRED SKILLS (EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION):</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor degree (emphasis on Finance, Accounting or Audit)</li><li>Fluency in English and Arabic; French is a plus</li><li>Advanced computer skills</li><li>3 years+of experience in accounting and/or finance</li><li>ERP knowledge is a plus</li><li>Strong knowledge of accounting and financial standards, and Lebanese accounting law</li></ul>
