<strong><u>Job Description</u></strong><p><br></p>About the Company<p><br></p>Petroleum Development Oman is the leading exploration and production company in the Sultanate of Oman. The Company delivers the majority of the country’s crude oil production and natural gas supply.<p><br></p>Purpose of the Job<p><br></p>To provide security services, support and functional advice to assets and project teams in the interior locations. Maintain a good<p><br></p>working relationship with ROP, Military and Security Agencies and other Government authorities working in the interior. Report,<p><br></p>analyse and take action against reported security incidents, and jointly with ROP, assist in investigating them accordingly with<p><br></p>an aim to prevent recurrence. Represent security department in security related matters at interior; Liaise with local communities’<p><br></p>section on local guards and security incidents/breaches; a member in the airport security committee. CSR for SSS contract.<p><br></p>Hold security inspection for the asset and follow up with concerned parties to close the gaps.<p><br></p>Education &amp; Experience<p><br></p><ul><li> University degree in Engineering, Science or Military.</li><li> Recognized certification in Security Management (CPP, PCP, Security Management Stage 1/2/3).</li><li> Minimum 5 years working experience in a security environment.</li><li> A good all-round knowledge of National Laws and Royal Oman Police Rules and Regulations.</li><li> Proven team player, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.</li><li> Able to manage work stress and prepared to work extra/flexible working hours (if needed) when required.</li><li> Ability to read, write and speak Arabic and English fluently.</li><li> Able to prepare and present spreadsheets and viewgraphs.</li></ul><p><br></p>Main Responsibilities<p><br></p><ul><li> Implement and enforce Corporate Security &amp; Emergency Response Policy (PL-10).</li><li> Ensure security performance and liaise with local agencies in the interior.</li><li> Assist ROP investigation team during security incidents.</li><li> Collaborate with local security agencies, including Oil &amp; Gas Installations Security Police.</li><li> Conduct regular meetings with security agencies and follow up on actions.</li><li> Perform security surveys, risk assessments, and audits at interior locations.</li><li> Identify, analyze, and mitigate security threats.</li><li> Provide security advice to interior asset teams.</li><li> Prepare and issue security passes for PDO and Contractor staff at interior locations.</li><li> Offer security support and facilitate improvements for staff and contractors.</li><li> Actively promote security awareness and compliance in meetings.</li><li> Serve as a member of the Airport security committee.</li><li> Coordinate with ROP for VIP security during visits.</li><li> Supervise security system projects/services.</li><li> Prepare and submit weekly performance reports to security manager.</li><li> Ensure security requirements are considered during program build cycles.</li><li> Identify areas for security improvement and propose suitable solutions.</li><li> Maintain critical assets information in areas of responsibility.</li><li> Collaborate with information security officer on breaches.</li><li> Coordinate with ROP on gate pass procedures and security breaches.</li><li> Conduct security awareness sessions for PDO staff and contractors.</li><li> Extend security support and facilitate improvements during incidents.</li><li> Act as a member of the Airport security committee.</li><li> Follow up on all security projects across the area.</li><li> Provide suggestions for developing procedures and risk mitigation.</li><li> Support the Emergency Response Team (ERT) as needed.</li><li> Participate as a member of the Interior LECC.</li><li> Ensure proper reporting and completion of incidents and accidents.</li><li> Serve as CSR for Security Safety Services (SSS) in the South.</li><li> Oversee the development and implementation of security procedures and protocols.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Skills Required</u></strong><p><br></p>Other Job Details
