Job Title: Doctor Secretary<br><br>Job Summary:<br>We are seeking a skilled and organized Doctor Secretary to provide administrative support to our medical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the doctor’s schedule, coordinating patient appointments, maintaining patient records, and performing various administrative duties.<br><br>Job Responsibilities:<br>- Answer and screen phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries<br>- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments and follow-up visits<br>- Prepare and maintain patient records and medical charts<br>- Obtain patient information and medical history for the doctor’s review<br>- Assist the doctor with various administrative tasks, including typing, filing, and data entry<br>- Manage the doctor’s calendar and schedule, ensuring that appointments are properly scheduled and confirmed<br>- Coordinate with other medical professionals and departments to ensure that patient care is coordinated and efficient<br>- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and records<br>- Perform other duties as assigned by the doctor or medical director<br><br>Qualifications:<br>- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred<br>- 2+ years of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting<br>- Strong organizational and time management skills<br>- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills<br>- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (EMR) systems<br>- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures<br>- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information<br>- Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure<br>- Must be detail-oriented and able to work independently<br><br>To apply, please submit your resume and a cover letter detailing your qualifications for the position.
