The Scrum Master will work closely with the Agile Coach/Project Manager to ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum principles and practices and will guide and coach the team towards continuous improvement.<p><br></p><strong>Responsibilities</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives</li><li>Guide the team towards continuous improvement by identifying and removing impediments, encouraging collaboration, and promoting Agile/Scrum principles and values</li><li>Act as a servant-leader to the team, ensuring they have everything they need to succeed, including resources, tools, and information</li><li>Foster a culture of transparency, trust, and open communication within the team and with stakeholders</li><li>Ensure that the team is practicing Agile/Scrum principles and processes correctly and that the team is adhering to the definition of done</li><li>Promote and facilitate cross-functional collaboration and teamwork, encouraging a sense of ownership and accountability among team members</li><li>Identify and escalate project risks and issues to the Agile Coach/Project Manager in a timely manner</li><li>Maintain and update Agile/Scrum documentation, including sprint backlogs, burn-down charts, and team metrics</li><li>Provide guidance and support to team members on Agile/Scrum practices and processes and ensure that the team is continuously learning and improving<br><br></li></ul>Requirements<p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field</li><li>Minimum 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment</li><li>Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum principles and practices</li><li>Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills</li><li>Ability to build strong relationships with team members and stakeholders</li><li>Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Scrum Master certification (CSM or equivalent) is a plus<br><br></li></ul>Envision Employment Solutions is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace dedicated to pursuing and hiring a diverse workforce.
