Whatever you excel at, whether it be management analysis, facts and figures, forging partnerships or supporting business-critical decisions – we’ve got the role for you.<p><br></p><strong>With us you will:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Manage, develop, and execute spend category strategies (Bid Management, Strategy, Finance, Human Resources, Property, Marketing, and Legal) and to ensure efficiency and value throughout the bidding process.</li><li>Validate departmental purchase orders and awareness of the end-to-end purchase to pay process. And align with Vodafone way of working and adhere to the Vodafone Policies – Code of Ethical Purchasing, Business Principles, Anti-Bribery.</li><li>Manage OPEX &amp; Capex budgets for the categories and identify cost saving initiatives (SCM projects). Provide regular ongoing project and cost saving initiative updates to Head of Supply Chain. And accountable for executing Vodafone Qatar tender committee’s actions.</li><li>Accountable for the development and implementation of the tendering processes, negotiate agreements for products and services. Introduce new and alternative sources of supply to ensure quality and reliable supply of goods and services at the optimal total cost.</li><li>Leads and owns the relationship with the GTC/LTC.</li><li>Responsible for the vendor creation process. Assess supplier capabilities, evaluate &amp; recommend proposals and execute contractual agreements.</li><li>Collaborate with the legal team and business owners to create the contractual agreement and scope of work.</li><li>Manages and ensures the usage of Supply Chain tools, processes, policies, and standards. Responsible for developing and executing TC’s guidelines and instructions using the Vodafone procurement tendering process.</li><li>Perform any additional project, task or activities assigned/delegated by the Line Manager.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Skills</strong><p><br></p>Apply if you have:<p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Business administration/ finance/ marketing/ or similar relevant field</li><li>5 years relevant and in-depth procurement &amp; supply chain experience, preferably with exposure to the commercial industry.</li><li>Must have bid management experience, particularly in generating value and driving efficiency with category &amp; Project management experience.</li><li>ERP experience on procurement Module with an ability to prepare strategies / roadmaps with experience in managing tenders is desirable.</li><li>Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with expertise in reporting is preferable.</li><li>Procurement and Supply Chain Management</li><li>Negotiation and analytical skills.</li><li>Risk Management &amp; Health and Safety acumen.</li><li>Commercial and legal acumen</li></ul><p><br></p>Commitment<p><br></p>Vodafone is committed to attracting, developing and retaining the best people by offering a motivating and inclusive workplace in which talent is truly recognised, developed and rewarded.
