Job Scope:
- Ensures all show sets are in good condition as per the original design.
- Able to mix and match colors as needed per touch ups and repair
- Able to identify and communicate any defects and contribute ideas on how to resolve them
- Carry out regular reviews of preventative maintenance program
- Adhere to departmental policies, procedures and performance standards and are maintained throughout their areas.
- Ensure any service delivery defects are resolved and identify any trends and share observations and suggestions with their Manager.
- Review accuracy of any checklists and records completed in their area and analyze.
- Participate in daily operations alongside their Colleagues setting a positive example.
- Foster a harmonious atmosphere among Colleagues in their area and brings team members together through team activities.
- Supports Manager to all reasonable dealings as needed.
To be considered for this role you will need:
- Experienced Artist working in Scenic Painting, Automotive Painting, Fiberglass, Cement Rock Carving, and/or Surface Texturing.
- 2+ yearsโ experience in an Art Department building Theme parks, movies, or show sets
- Hands on installation experience a plus.
- Has experience in creative manufacturing either painting or sculpting
- Has positive attitude and willing to do what it takes to get the job done according to standards and keeping within the allotted time.
- Able to follow instructions
- Able to communicate ideas and not afraid to ask questions.
- Has motivation and a โcan doโ attitude
- Proven ability in troubleshooting, Problem solving skills.
- Able to adhere to strict timelines.
- Clear understanding of both written and spoken English.
- Ability to understand line drawings and schematics.
- Willing to work nightshift
