Job Details:
Role: Satellite Broadcasting Technician
Contract: 12 months & extendable
Work Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Job Responsibilities:
- TV Hub Systems Operation and Maintenance – Ateme, Dataminar, Harmonics, etc.
- Satellite Link budget Calculations, Sun Interference data update, etc.
- Managing Satellite Bandwidth leased for TV customers and updating TV frequency plans.
- Installation and operation of TVRO & IRDs system.
- setting up and operating equipment and transmission links/vehicle during outside broadcasts (DSNG)
- Satellite operator techical support.
- TV hardware management, Software update, Security update, repair and inventory control.
- setting up and monitoring TV contribution links between different avenues.
- Design, setup and configure complex switching environments
- installing and testing new facilities and equipment
- Monitor system performance and utilization
- Etisalat Business continuity and disaster recovery drill participation and support.
- Maintaining multi-site network operations
- Enhancing TV OPS team technical knowledge.
- TV Customers operations support, complaints follow up and resolutions
