<p>The key objectives of this role are to identify and develop opportunities in raw material trading in the Middle East and North Africa. The position will also play an essential role in bringing fresh ideas and insights to the team and supporting other teams to achieve their objectives.</p><p>The candidate has a strong commercial background and a track record in managing operations in industrial enterprises. Fluent English is required. A high level of integrity and experience working in a multinational environment is also essential.</p><p>In this position, you will:</p><p>· Develop new customers mainly in the Middle East – work autonomously to spot and cultivate key accounts and achieve our sales targets.</p><p>· Promote and sell raw materials across various industries. This includes but is not limited to ferroalloys, noble alloys, ore, chemicals, and rare earth metals.</p><p>· Control your costs (travelling etc).</p><p>· Manage customer/supplier expectations while coordinating with internal teams (marketing, engineering, accounting, financing).</p><p>· Report to the management team.</p><p>· Set up a desk and develop a necessary team to fulfil a regional management role in the future</p><p>The professional profile includes:</p><p>· University degree with a minimum of 3 years of work experience in the ferroalloy or metallurgical industry</p><p>· Experience and/or knowledge in the metallurgy preferred</p><p>· Proven passion for results-driven sales, and a keen eye for new opportunities</p><p>· Experience in coordinating teams and meeting deadlines</p><p>· Good team player, who takes the initiative</p><p>· Fluency in English (verbal and written) required</p><p>· Another language would be a plus</p><p>· Technical knowledge of metallurgy and the steel industry</p><p>· Being able to travel frequently</p><p>You work within an inspiring teamwork culture – where you can thrive, collaborate and learn from other talented and passionate people across regions and divisions.</p>
