<p>House of Shipping provides business consultancy and advisory services for Shipping &amp; Logistics companies. House of Shipping’s commitment to their customers begins with developing an understanding of their business fundamentals.</p><p><br></p><p>Currently House of Shipping is recruiting for a Sales Manager on behalf of its client Freight Forwarding Company.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Main tasks and responsibilities</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li> Sell the whole range of products (Air/Ocean/Land/oversized cargo/warehousing)</li><li>Achieve company objectives by planning thoroughly, setting sales goals, analyzing performance data, and making forecasts.</li><li>Develop skills continuously for hiring, training, and leading team members, and ensure that they’re using effective sales tactics to meet revenue objectives.</li><li>Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands our customer base and extends the company’s global reach!</li><li>Provides weekly EOWs &amp; monthly Sales Report to Country sales manager regarding sales performance.</li><li>Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports submitted by Account Executives</li><li>Ensures that all Sales Executives meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals, and closes.</li><li>Sets examples for Sales Executives in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits.</li><li>Meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships that address their needs.</li><li>Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop plans for filling them.</li><li>Ensure that company quotas are met by holding daily check-ins with sales team to set objectives and monitor progress.</li><li>Manage and grow existing businesses to generate targeted and sustainable revenue (additional regions, additional products).</li><li>Perform all aspects of the sales process and input &amp; update all customer information utilizing CRM.</li><li>Support commercial Pricing team in getting Transport vendors with competitive rate.</li><li>Ensure an adequate level of vigilance on customer payment behaviour and make sure to help Credit Control to collect payment. </li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Background and experience</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><ul><li>Five or more years of experience in managing sales in a corporate setting.</li><li>Extensive Knowledge of the Saudi Market</li></ul>
