Responsibilities

Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data Ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections Collaborate with team members to achieve better results Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams

Requirements and skills

Proven experience as a Sales Executive or relevant role Proficiency in English Excellent knowledge of MS Office Hands-on experience with CRM software is a plus Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques Fast learner and passion for sales Self-motivated with a results-driven approach Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations High school degree

To understand the Marketing Plan and objectives so as to maximize revenues while carrying out the sales and marketing activities for the resort.
Functional:
Highly motivated individual with strong organizational skills. Strong team player. Understand the Marketing Plan and Budget for the resort as necessary. Understand Four Seasons Management Operating Standards (MOS) for Sales and Marketing. Carry out responsibilities in line with these standards. Strong focus on new business development. The ability to make telephone and personal sales calls on accounts in assigned market areas. Follow up promptly with appropriate action to support telephone and personal sales calls. The ability to do conduct effective presentation of our properties with wholesalers, meeting planners, travel agents and corporate accounts. The ability to travel and solicit business designated by the marketing plan. The ability to qualify and follow-up on all leads and maintain a good relationship with Four Seasons Worldwide Sales Office and other Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts The ability to evaluate, solicit, sell and confirm business as required to meet individual goals and overall budgeted sales and profitability. The ability to create group proposals and follow up for all groups. The ability to develop data and recommend programs to meets client’s needs as well as recommend alternate proposals. The ability to sell all resort services. The ability to coordinate with other Department Heads to ensure quality of guest/group satisfaction. The ability to contact customers to promote good will and foster additional business, repeat bookings or referrals to other Four Seasons Hotels via P2P. The ability to follow-up on progress of booked business. The ability to maintain an effective plan of correspondences. The ability to use Golden Sales & Catering / Sales & Catering systems, Meeting Broker and Cvent. The ability to report on a monthly basis against action plan/goal. The ability to keep supervisors promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance coming to his/her attention so prompt corrective action can be taken where appropriate.
