Job Description
Job Purpose
- Develop Business and make sales strategies.
- Responsible for the performance and development of the account executives /Key Account Manager’s/Sales account managers.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics code and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
- Recruits, tests, and hires account executives based on criteria agreed upon by the senior management.
- Initiate and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
Job Responsibilities
Sales Strategy
- Achieve sales targets for self (if any) and the team in order to ensure that the division targets are achieved.
- Understanding the economic structure of an industry and then identifying segments within a market; Identifying a target market.
- Identifying the best customers in place and developing a strategy accordingly.
- Understanding competitors and their products.
- Establishing environmental scanning mechanisms to detect opportunities and threats.
- Coordinating the sales function with other parts of the promotional mix, such as advertising, sales promotion, public relations, and publicity.
- Creating a sustainable competitive advantage.
- Understanding where brands should be in the future and providing an empirical basis to write marketing plans regularly to help get there.
Reporting & Forecasting
- Report sales forecasts and business updates to the immediate supervisor to make sure that the senior sales. team is fully informed and able to take timely business decisions especially with regards to the gap between actual and projected sales.
- Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
Team Management
- Manage and coach sales staff to ensure high performance and motivation to achieve division targets.
Internal & External Relationships
- Support the finance division in order to ensure healthy and timely collections (cash flow).
- Coordinate with logistics and service department to ensure timely delivery and installation in line with the customer’s requirements.
- Maintain relationships with clients by constantly being in touch with them to understand their requirements and manage their expectations.
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
Qualifications
Educational Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or a related field from a recognised University or Institution
Skills & Professional Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge or previous experience with CRM tools would be advantageous
Experience Requirements:
- Successful previous experience of 7-8 years as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
- Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences.

- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Strong business sense and industry expertise.
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.
