<p><strong>Sales Manager</strong></p><p><br></p><p>This role is responsible for directing sales efforts to expand our client’s base. This role will be responsible for generating new business and ensuring that sales targets are met or exceeded across all lines of business.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><strong>Primary:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Achieve growth and hit sales targets by effectively managing and training the sales team.</li><li>Successfully track and meet planned sales goals and quotas.</li><li>Implement and design a strategic business plan that boosts and grows the company’s client base.</li><li>Oversee and monitor the activities and performance of the sales team.</li><li>Present sales, revenue, and realistic forecasts to the management team.</li><li>Develop a successful and driven sales team through ongoing motivation, counseling, and mentoring.</li><li>Identify emerging markets and stay up to date with the latest sales trends and best practices.</li><li>Utilize inside sales knowledge.</li><li>Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction- maintain close contact with all customers– including follow up on concerns or other issues.&nbsp;</li><li>Communicate effectively with customers, shippers, and receivers regarding changes in pick-up/delivery and potential service failures.</li><li>Communicate customer problems to management.</li><li>Exceed all standards for prospecting calls, presentations, proposals and closes.</li><li>Provide documented activity reports of your sales efforts on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.</li><li>Execute and monitor strategic and tactical goals to maximize sales, profit and to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Secondary:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Negotiate contracts and rate agreements.</li><li>Document issues with orders thoroughly.</li><li>Track/trace shipments when requested.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Experience &amp; Requirements:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>BS Degree in Business administration or related filed.</li><li>2 – 3 years of experience as sales manager or sales representative.</li><li>Proven track of record of closing deals.</li><li>Strong business acumen and industry expertise.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>computer skills.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>This position offers a competitive salary plus commission.</strong></p>
