SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Support the Sales manager in promoting and selling a range of Decorative products to new/existing/specified potential customers by utilising Jotun’s sales tools and techniques to develop strong customer relationships to achieve budgeted sales, gross margin, DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) and with the aim of increasing Jotun market share and profitability.
This position is based in Yanbu, North region & will report to the Area Sales Manager – Decorative Retail.

Responsibilities:

  • Introduce, promote and sell Decorative products to allocated customers and geographical territories through regular dealers visits to maintain good relationship and obtain market information.

  • Promote decorative products by co-ordinating marketing activities and campaigns to achieve sales budget.

  • Expand and strengthen distribution network through structured follow up and retail market mapping process to ensure good performance of the existing dealers and plan well for the new openings.

  • Have a strong follow-up on collection as per assigned targets to ensure that company working capital conditions remain healthy.

  • Liaise with the client market and respond to enquiries, introducing products, services to dealers/retailers and attending to customers’ complaints.

  • Follow-up on dealers within allocated geographical territories and ensure that our shops reflecting Jotun identity and distribution strategy by coordinating and monitoring closely with dealers & shop salesmen to ensure JOTUN products are used and to achieve sales budget.

  • Ensure profitability of the company by selling high value products and increasing the retail network to create a good base in the Retail market.

  • To play central role in developing and conducting Jotun Way programme which aiming to upgrade the competence of salesmen along with training for painters in the territory.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales or Marketing.

  • Minimum 2 – 3 years of relevant experience in Retail Sales & Business Development.

  • Fluency in Arabic & English – both verbally and written.

  • Location – Yanbu, Saudi Arabia.
