What you will be doing:
As Sale Executive your role will include such as:
– Communicates all RFPs received directly from department with the Country Sales Managers – for advice.
– Handles all RFP assigned by Country Sales Manager or Country Director of Sales
– Prior to preparing an offer, ensure that all necessary information about the event is obtained either from account manager or client direct.
– Prepares offer letters according to guest requirements and availability according to company standards and selling strategy.
– Follows up on offers sent promptly and systematically and within establish parameters, negotiate rates and amend offer sent, taking all necessary actions to secure the business.
– Maintains generating accounts through various sales activities (face to face sales calls, telephone calls, sight inspections, entertainment) jointly with Accounts Manager.
– Maximizes up selling opportunities by proposing additional events and activities suitable and complimenting to the MICE booking.
– Communicate the final details of all confirmed bookings to the Country Sales Manager – for the contract to be prepared
– Obtain client's signature on Booking Contract in a prompt and timely fashion.
– Maintains and updates the Sales & Catering – PMS – as per company standards.
– Inputs all bookings, including waitlisted and inquiry bookings in the PMS as per company standards.
– Obtains client feedback after each event verbally and through Thank You letter and Guest Questionnaire and communicate the same with all concerned.
– Ensures that the response to any business request is actions within 24 working hours.
– Arranges or conduct site inspections of Rixos UAE hotel's conference & banqueting department.
– Ensures that availability is checked with sister Hotels and alternative venues are recommended prior to regretting any booking.
– Maintains close communication with the Sales Team in the negotiation process of their bookings.
– Performs all duties & responsibilities in a timely & efficient manner in accordance with established hotel policies to achieve position objectives.
– Handles incoming calls and ensures messages are taken and details are forwarded to the person concerned.
– Attends departmental & communication meeting as requested by Director of Sales.
– Attends major events in hotel & city as requested by Department Head.
– Ensures that selling strategies are adhered to during negotiations and maximizes up selling opportunities whenever possible.
– Ensures comprehensive and up to date knowledge of properties' unique selling points, features, amenities, services and policies with special emphasis on Conference Banqueting facilities.
– Ensures that Rixos Hotels Sales & Marketing Policies and Standard Operational Procedures are adhered to at all times.
