Role Purpose:

  • The role of the Sales Executive will manage sales for the schools, travel trade, birthday and corporate event segments for Snow Abu Dhabi and ensure a seamless booking process and delivery of guest experience.

 

Role Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Delivery & Support:

  • Manages the booking process as the key point of contact for all Sales segments in line with the defined processes
  • Sales segments to be managed include government entities, schools, corporate events, birthdays and travel trade
  • Gathers requirements and specifications for school visits, corporate events and birthdays and liaises with key internal and/or external stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery
  • Provides an accurate and detailed event briefing to Operations covering off all elements of an event that need to be delivered with accurate timings and detailed special requests where required
  • Attends each event and directs activities from start to finish to ensure the event’s success
  • Performs post-event evaluation to ensure client satisfaction and documents any issues for future learning and enhancements
  • Ensures that all sales requests and enquiries are handled within the agreed timelines and asks for support if there is a backlog or delay due to volume of enquiries
  • Constantly gathers, understands, and applies an expanding knowledge of what is possible to constantly improve our service
  • Supports customer loyalty by maintaining a customer database to enable frequent CRM activity to keep the customer base engaged
  • Builds strong relationships with customers, guests and colleagues and works to serve them effectively
  • Ensures that selling strategies are adhered to during negotiations and maximizes upselling opportunities whenever possible
  • Attends weekly and monthly department meetings and prepares meeting notes and feedback accordingly
  • Understands the overall market, including competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand and knows how to sell against them.

 

Financial KPI’s:

  • Drives AED5,000,000 in revenue through schools, birthday, travel trade & event bookings in the first 12 months from opening

  • Performs any additional adhoc duties as and when requested by the Line Manager and/or Head of Department.

Minimum experience:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience working in a sales role within the hospitality industry within the UAE or region (could be a hotel, for a DMC or an attraction)

 

Minimum Qualifications/education:

  • Degree or Diploma equivalent in Hospitality or 5+ years’ work experience preferred
