Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Acquire and manage new business accounts in your specified channels;
- Develop sales strategies to achieve set targets;
- Make calls and generate leads using existing contacts and building new ones;
- Prepare and make sophisticated presentations to customers;
- Support the sales manager in managing existing accounts and relationships;
- Work with the sales manager in participating in tenders and generating new key accounts;
- Acquire continuously knowledge about the products and solutions sold;
- Educate and train customers on the use of products and solutions offered;
- Identify opportunities for growing sales with existing accounts;
- Prepare regular reports outlining progress in leads and projects;
- Coordinate with Operations team to ensure order fulfillment/service issues are addressed;
- Monitor market trends and make recommendations.
- Perform other tasks assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Candidate must have at least 2-3 years experience in outside sales role in HORECA reporting directly to the sales manager;
- Must have been a role where he/she generated alone sales of at least USD 400,000 per year;
- Experience with key accounts in hospitality is a big plus;
- Experience in the coffee/beverages industry is a plus;
- Must hold a bachelorβs degree;
- Computer literate (Excel, Word, PPT for reports);
- Possess excellent communication and inter-personal skills including well spoken English;
- Perform effectively despite challenging deadlines and changing priorities;
- Proven ability to study leads, analyze, and make great pitches;
- Highly reliable self-starter; can be counted on to complete assignments on time;
- Team player. Excellent attitude with a can-do personality;
- Presentable and able to comfortably meet and speak with sophisticated customers.
- REPORTING LINE: This position reports directly to the Sales Manager
