JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Acquire and manage new business accounts in your specified channels;
  • Develop sales strategies to achieve set targets;
  • Make calls and generate leads using existing contacts and building new ones;
  • Prepare and make sophisticated presentations to customers;
  • Support the sales manager in managing existing accounts and relationships;
  • Work with the sales manager in participating in tenders and generating new key accounts;
  • Acquire continuously knowledge about the products and solutions sold;
  • Educate and train customers on the use of products and solutions offered;
  • Identify opportunities for growing sales with existing accounts;
  • Prepare regular reports outlining progress in leads and projects;
  • Coordinate with Operations team to ensure order fulfillment/service issues are addressed;
  • Monitor market trends and make recommendations.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Candidate must have at least 2-3 years experience in outside sales role in HORECA reporting directly to the sales manager;
  • Must have been a role where he/she generated alone sales of at least USD 400,000 per year;
  • Experience with key accounts in hospitality is a big plus;
  • Experience in the coffee/beverages industry is a plus;
  • Must hold a bachelor’s degree;
  • Computer literate (Excel, Word, PPT for reports);
  • Possess excellent communication and inter-personal skills including well spoken English;
  • Perform effectively despite challenging deadlines and changing priorities;
  • Proven ability to study leads, analyze, and make great pitches;
  • Highly reliable self-starter; can be counted on to complete assignments on time;
  • Team player. Excellent attitude with a can-do personality;
  • Presentable and able to comfortably meet and speak with sophisticated customers.
