Job Description:
The Sales Director is responsible for leading the sales team to achieve revenue targets by developing and implementing sales strategies and tactics. This involves collaborating with various stakeholders to identify sales opportunities, managing the sales pipeline, and providing leadership and guidance to the sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to achieve revenue targets
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify sales opportunities and develop relationships with clients
- Manage the sales pipeline and ensure effective communication with clients and internal stakeholders
- Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team, including setting sales targets, coaching, and mentoring
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and use data to identify opportunities for improvement
- Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts and clients
- Ensure compliance with sales policies and procedures
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders
- Use market research and analysis to develop strategies for growth
- Participate in the development of marketing materials and activities to support the sales function
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in sales or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership position
- Strong understanding of sales processes and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with sales software and tools
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Proven ability to develop and implement strategies that optimize the sales function
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
