<p>As a Sales Development Representative, your primary responsibility is to generate and qualify leads for the sales team. You will reach out to potential customers, introduce them to the company’s products or services, and nurture relationships to move them further down the sales funnel.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><br></p><ol><li>Prospecting: Conduct research to identify potential leads and target accounts. Utilize various sources like databases, social media, and networking to build a pipeline of potential customers.</li><li>Lead Generation: Reach out to prospects through various channels, such as phone calls, emails, social media, and events, to initiate conversations and create interest in the company’s offerings.</li><li>Qualification: Engage in conversations with prospects to understand their needs, challenges, and buying potential. Evaluate their fit with the company’s target customer profile and qualify them as marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) or sales-qualified leads (SQLs).</li><li>Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with prospects by providing relevant information, answering their queries, and nurturing them through the sales process. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads.</li><li>Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to align on target accounts, share insights, and provide feedback on lead quality. Collaborate with marketing to optimize lead generation strategies and campaigns.</li><li>Sales Support: Assist sales representatives by scheduling meetings, preparing sales materials, and providing background information on prospects. Participate in sales meetings or demos when necessary.</li></ol><p>&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience</li><li>Experience as a Lead Generator/Inbounds</li><li>Understanding of sales performance metrics</li><li>Proficient in CRM software</li></ul>
