Sales Account Manager | AFET | Dubai, UAE

Overview of the role:

The Sales Account Manager is responsible for:

  • Generate Enquiries, follow-up and book Orders as per the Target set by the Business Management
  • Actively seeking out new sales opportunities and generating sales revenues as per targets set by the business, through cold calling, networking and social media
  • The accurate completion of monthly management reports covering all activities
  • Following up on current leads, opportunities and key accounts

 

What you will do:

Sales Planning, Knowledge and Research

•   Conducting market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs

•   Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and given marketing strategies

•   Maintain Comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of scaffolding systems, market intelligence, industry trends and competition.

 

Sales & Collection Target

Achieve Sales Margin Target set by the management on Monthly, Quarterly and Annual basis by activities mentioned below

•   Generating Sales leads, enquires and confirmed orders on monthly basis to achieve set target of overall annual business Sales Target

•   Cash collection/AR follow up related to ‘won’ sales. Actively following with the customer on due and overdue payments and working through payment and certification issues/discrepancies to achieve smooth billing and collection.

•   Generate sales leads for upcoming projects by regular visits, communication and relationship and network building on daily basis to key customers, new and old.

Customer Relation /Networking

•   Maintain good rapport with key clients and customers. Research market in terms of current Job in Hands, current projects under design, current projects on tender stage.

•   Interact and engage customer for information feedback related to competitor’s pricing/products proposed 

•   Understand, analyze, and propose solutions to meet the customer needs 

 

Communication

•   Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections

•   Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams

What equips you for the role:

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: –

  • Bachelor Degree is preferable
  • High school degree at least

Minimum Experience

  • 5 years experience in Scaffolding sales, with understanding and awareness of the regions construction industry, knowledge of major market players, and of scaffolding and access systems in general.
