Job Description
<ul><li>Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and hazard identification to ensure a safe working environment, employing NEBOSH IGG and IOSH knowledge to effectively evaluate and mitigate potential health and safety risks.</li><li>Develop, implement, and enforce robust health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines, in line with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements, to enhance safety culture across the organization.</li><li>Lead and deliver proactive safety training programs, workshops, and toolbox talks to educate and empower employees on best practices, emergency preparedness, and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), fostering a safety-conscious work environment.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and analyze incidents, accidents, and near-miss events, identifying causes and implementing corrective and preventive measures, while adhering to legal obligations and industry guidelines.</li><li>Perform routine inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and processes, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and promptly addressing any non-compliance issues through effective communication and collaboration with relevant stakeholders.</li><li>Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs and initiatives, utilizing data analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and develop proactive strategies to enhance overall safety performance and minimize occupational hazards.</li><li>Maintain and update accurate safety records, incident reports, and documentation, following regulatory requirements and internal protocols, and produce timely reports and recommendations for senior management to facilitate informed decision-making and continuous improvement.</li><li>Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory updates about health, safety, and environmental matters, and proactively disseminate relevant information to stakeholders, ensuring compliance with emerging standards and legislation.</li><li>Foster a safety-focused culture through effective communication, coaching, and training sessions, promoting employee engagement and participation in safety-related initiatives, and recognizing and rewarding outstanding safety performance and contributions.</li><li>Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as regulatory bodies and auditors, to ensure the organizations compliance with health and safety regulations, facilitate inspections, and actively participate in industry forums to exchange knowledge and best practices.</li></ul><p><br></p>
