Job Description

Perform daily drive test benchmarking activities all over Egypt.

Create voice/data scripts and monitor/assess the network performance KPIs within the drive test cluster/mission.

Perform indoor drive test measurements.

Analyze network performance KPIs while drive testing and identify poor network performance areas.

Prepare daily reports for the drive test activity.

Maintain smoothness in the drive test and troubleshoot the system hardware and software issues.

Follow the measurement plan and report the measurement activity to 1st line support team.

Provide recommendation for network issues faced in the defined cluster.

Conduct drive testing & data collection using LTE and UMTS systems

Monitor LTE data service, handoff between LTE and UMTS, upload/download activities, ping, short & long calls on multiple systems

Troubleshoot equipment failure and set up laptop device manager and communication ports

Perform CS call (MO & MT) and PS call (HSUPA & HSDPA) testing, throughput testing, signal verification, site verification

Assist office Engineer in cell site troubleshooting. Examples include dropped calls, poor coverage, and overloaded circuits.

Identify and escalate areas with network coverage issues, poor network services, loss of signal strength and data service faults on the network.

Conduct required drive tests and walk tests for customer complaints.

Perform live optimization changing RF data on 2G, 3G, 4G sites/sectors.

Work with a team of engineers to perform RF network optimization.

Conduct voice and data drive tests for 2G, 3G, 4G for cluster optimization.

Handle pre-acceptance voice and data tests for new sites on all technologies

Analyze logs of Radio tool for identifying issues in the coverage and quality area.

Education

Bachelor of Engineering with a specialization in Communications or Computers.
