The Company delivers the majority of the country’s crude oil production and natural gas supply.<p><br></p>Purpose of the Job<p><br></p>Implement PDO Rotating Equipment Engineering and Operations strategy. The position entails supporting and driving the Rotating Equipment system Optimisation, making sure that activities and deliverables adhere to quality, time, and budget standards, and ensuring that discipline-specific improvements are made consistently.<p><br></p>The role will also be to support the rotating equipment in house specification review as well as system design review, follow the construction and leading the commissioning and testing activities for the new facilities. You must also demonstrate the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams producing reports, studies and presentations that are pivotal in shaping management’s decisions.<p><br></p>The position also ensure that all deliverables linked to rotating equipment are done on time and in accordance with the project’s and company’s design intent, required standards, and good engineering practice. creates concepts, analyses, reports, and basic engineering deliverables for selecting rotating equipment for new projects.<p><br></p>Education & Experience<p><br></p><ul><li> Degree in Engineering</li><li> At least 7 years of rotating machinery knowledge & experience in oil and gas industry.</li><li> Minimum 3 years’ experience in project delivery RE discipline role.</li><li> Proven track record in the management and delivery of complex rotating machinery projects.</li></ul><p><br></p>Main Responsibilities<p><br></p><ul><li> Responsible of the engineering and design aspects of all type of rotating equipment. This includes but not limited to specifying, selecting, and verifying the design of various rotating equipment like centrifugal compressors, pumps, power transmission units, diesel engines, and gas engines according to ORP process and DCAF requirements along other international standards applicable to Oil and Gas industry.</li><li> Responsible for developing company specifications and standards by interfacing with multi-discipline engineers for Rotating Equipment.</li><li> Aid in the design & development of equipment & systems</li><li> Retrofit & redesign rotating equipment and their supporting systems</li><li> Participate in day-to-day resolution of technical queries related rotating equipment raised by different teams within PDO, Contractors, consultants, and OEM’s.</li><li> Manage relationships with approved vendors and contractors for rotating equipment systems, oversee their work, and ensure they adhere to the required PDO quality and safety standards.</li><li> Providing technical expertise for rotating equipment systems within PDO’s portfolio throughout the life cycle of projects.</li><li> Implement/practice/monitor Quality Management System in assigned projects in line with PDO Quality Management System.</li><li> Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with company codes, policies, guidelines as well as industry and government regulations, including environmental regulations.</li><li> Participate assurance review to Technical HSE for DEM-1, DEM-2, EPSF and AI-PSM lesson learned in the design for equipment related to rotating equipment systems.</li><li> Work with the Operations and Maintenance team to develop and improve equipment care strategies, critical sparing management, and operations and maintenance procedures/task lists.</li><li> Technical Support to the Asset Management System (AMS) processes of Manage Equipment Care, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Ensure Safe Production.</li><li> Ensure the availability of SOP for all identified critical process within rotating equipment</li><li> Lead risk assessments and develop risk management strategies for the operation of rotating equipment systems, including identifying, assessing, and mitigating technical, operational, and business risks.</li><li> Oversee the asset life cycle of all rotating equipment from acquisition, installation, operation, maintenance, to decommissioning. Implement asset management strategies to optimize equipment performance and extend asset life via HBAs, RLAs.</li><li> Manage teamwork assignments, workload, work forecasting for assigned projects and ensure team members accountabilities in the assigned project are clear and the team works well together and learn from each other and external sources.0.</li><li> Ensure that annual team objectives and individual team member objectives aligned with department and company objectives and KPI.</li><li> Coaching and technical development of Mechanical and Rotating Equipment engineers and Fresh Graduates.</li><li> Collaborate, build relationships, and manage interfaces with other mechanical rotating function sections, other PDO assets, project teams, etc.</li><li> Lead Feasibility studies, new technologies and innovative solution proposal related to Rotating Equipment systems.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Skills Required</u></strong><p><br></p>Other Job Details
