repair swamp coolers.</li><li> Replace burned out and defective fluorescent tubes and light bulbs; replace burned out<br></li></ul>ballasts, broken light switches, duplex receptacles, plates, and other plug receptacles.<br><ul><li> Repair bathroom plumbing; replace or repair leaking faucets and damaged lavatory sinks;<br></li></ul>unclog toilets, shower and sink drains.<br><ul><li> Perform a variety of carpentry duties as assigned including repairing walls, doors and trim;<br></li></ul>repair beds, tables, lockers, gate locks and fences.<br><ul><li> Maintain door closures, locks and hardware</li><li> Maintain resort buildings, install and maintain fencing, repair park benches, playground,<br></li></ul>shelters and other equipment.<br><ul><li> Assist with construction and refurbishing of various structures.</li><li> Inspect resort area; remove possible hazards to ensure public safety.</li><li> Maintain bathrooms including repairing broken fixtures; replace fixtures when necessary.</li><li> Operate a variety of tools and equipment including power tools</li><li> Install roofing, insulation and drywall.</li><li> Perform general cleanup of job sites.</li><li> Perform special projects as assigned.</li><li> Perform related duties and responsibilities as required</li><li> Assemble and install metal duct work.</li><li> Maintain records and write reports.</li><li> Respond to public inquiries in a courteous manner; provide information within the area of<br></li></ul>assignment; resolve complaints in an efficient and timely manner.<br><ul><li> Estimate time, materials and equipment required for jobs assigned; requisition materials as<br></li></ul>required.<br><ul><li> Inspect and maintain fire sprinkler systems.</li><li> The ability to assist in providing electrical repair and maintenance to motors, starters, breakers<br></li></ul>and associated equipment throughout the entire building.<br><ul><li> The ability to maintenance and re-lamping of all lamps in the hotel, and assist in socket repair<br></li></ul>and replacement.<br><ul><li> The ability to assist in installing electrical wiring for renovations, electrical outlet additions,<br></li></ul>motors and associated equipment.<br><ul><li> The ability to assist in providing electrical set-ups for exhibits and conventions including<br></li></ul>maintaining electrical equipment for exhibits.<br><ul><li> The ability to assist in providing preventive maintenance of all electrical/mechanical/plumbing<br></li></ul>equipment and updating of appropriate logs.<br><ul><li> The ability to clean all stations in Engineering and maintain a neat and organized department.</li><li> The ability to respond to all guest complaints regarding the maintenance of their room or<br></li></ul>public area in a timely manner.<br><ul><li> The ability to assist in performing preventive maintenance in guestrooms and public areas.</li><li> The ability to assist on all plumbing stoppages and repairs in the resort</li><li> The ability to repair an assortment of items brought to the shop by other departments.</li><li> The ability to assist in cleaning grease traps, filters and drains and other equipment/areas as<br></li></ul>necessary.<br><ul><li> The ability to assemble desks, shelving, cabinets, etc. as assigned.</li><li> The ability to assist Shift engineers on major shut downs for repairs.</li><li> The ability to maintain logs for all work performed while on duty within department and those in<br></li></ul>other departments as they apply to Engineering Repairs.<br><ul><li> The ability to assist in installing or relocating any additional or existing equipment when<br></li></ul>necessary.<br><ul><li> The ability to take meter readings, record temperatures</li><li> The ability to respond to work orders or room inspection reports submitted by Department<br></li></ul>Heads.<br><ul><li> The ability to respond to all emergency conditions such as fires, power failures, etc.</li><li> The ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times to reflect the high<br></li></ul>standards of Four Seasons Hotels.<br><ul><li> The ability to maintain a good working relationship with other employees, providing instruction<br></li></ul>and encouragement as needed.<br><ul><li> The ability to ensure a clean, neat and organized work area.</li><li> The ability to report any damages observed within the Resort area, whether it be guestroom,<br></li></ul>public areas or any employee housing units through the Engineering reporting systems in<br><br>place. Reporting to be done within one hour of discovery.<br><ul><li> The ability to perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.</li></ul>
