Responsibilities:
- Preparing datasets for analysis and reporting needs of your colleagues both within and outside of our team
- Maintain and consistently improve our risk assessment algorithms
- Help with design collections strategies for specific segments
- Work on the development, implementation, testing, and release of a range of models
- Develop fraud prevention models/rules and monitoring
- Create, measure, and analyze various KPIs to inform decisions and support recommendations across the company
- Prepare automated reports for metrics monitoring
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science or a related technical field
- Work experience in banking/fintech as data analyst
- Advanced knowledge in SQL
- Experience in Python
- Strong understanding of statistics
- Experience with modelling and machine learning techniques as a plus
- You thrive in ambiguous environments. Ask incisive questions and have an intellectual curiosity. You have a structured approach to problem solving alongside strong quantitative skills.
- You can analyze issues, identify root-causes and recommend solutions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including an ability to effectively lead interactions with both business and technical teams
- Experience with data visualization technologies such as Tableau
- Native Arabic speaker and fluent English
