The company was founded on May 29, 1933 and is headquartered in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.</p> <p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p> <p>We are seeking a Senior Oil and Gas Production Engineer specialized in rigless well intervention operations to join Northern Area Well Completion Operations Department (NAWCOD). NAWCOD provides well services and completion activities for This Company Oil and Gas wells in Northern Area of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Engineer will handle the complexity and work-related activities related to gas, oil and water wells (both producers and injectors naturally or artificially). In addition to engineering consultation and investigation, the Engineer should have a background of monitoring the drilling operations, completion design, flowback/testing operations, chemical treatments, logging and interventions, hydraulic fracturing and integrity assurance to perform remedial work for production enhancement.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide centralized engineering support for all NAWCOD (North Arabian Water Injection and Disposal Operations) operations.</li> <li>Ensure that well intervention requirements are technically and operationally feasible and can be carried out safely.</li> <li>Ensure that all well interventions and testing equipment used in NAWCOD meet job safety and technical requirements. Collaborate with Production Engineering to prepare activity level forecasts.</li> <li>Initiate, facilitate, and evaluate trial tests of new technologies.</li> <li>Conduct audits of well intervention operations, including service providers and personnel competency performance, to ensure compliance with best-in-class practices. Evaluate offshore vessels used for well services operations for safety compliance and technical requirements. Monitor and evaluate the condition of existing well services equipment and develop replacement plans. Generate and maintain Operational Instruction Manuals (OIM) for all NAWCOD operations.</li> <li>Monitor the performance of NAWCOD well interventions and issue technical reports as needed.</li> <li>Evaluate and recommend modifications to operational procedures to achieve continuous improvement in safety and efficiency.</li> <li>Prepare and distribute best practices and conduct technical training and awareness sessions.</li><br></ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>This role required candidate to permanently relocate at Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.</strong></li> <li>Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline. A Master’s degree is desirable. Intensive industry training, including specialized courses and seminars, is expected.</li> <li>Have a minimum of 15 years of related experience, including 5 years of intensive field experience in well interventions, particularly in Coiled Tubing and Wireline operations.</li> <li>Possess experience working in sour oil fields with high H2S concentration, both in onshore and offshore environments, and with smart well completions. Experience in HP/HT (High Pressure/High Temperature) and high-rate gas well interventions is also required.</li> <li>Provide technical support for well operations, covering all aspects of well interventions such as well stimulation, hydraulic fracturing, well testing, well integrity, and the application of state-of-the-art technologies. Strong technical expertise in coiled tubing, electric-line, and slickline conveyance is necessary.</li> <li>Actively participate in related professional societies and have achieved professional recognition through knowledge sharing webinars/seminars, publications, and engagement in international professional committees’ activities.</li></ul>
