Job Description

<p>A Sales associate is responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service as per company standards and generating sales.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities: </strong></p><ul><li>Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer.</li><li>Help customers in locating merchandise.</li><li>Suggest additional merchandise to customers and apply up-selling strategies.</li><li>Handle customer complaints and problems and report to the store manager as appropriate.</li><li>Communicate customer requests to Store Manager/Assistant Store Manager/Store Supervisor.</li><li>Note customers’ reactions to new products and relay this information back to the store manager/assistant – store Manager/Store Supervisor.</li><li>Maintain solid product knowledge as per the company’s customer service standards.</li><li>Maintain an awareness of all promotions and advertisements.</li><li>&nbsp;Assist in floor moves, merchandising, and display maintenance.</li><li>Process and replenish merchandise and monitor floor stock.</li><li>Implement sales, promotions, and special offers in the store and subsequent tasks.</li><li>Participate in year-end inventory and cycle counts.</li><li>Help to ring all purchases into the proper department on the cash register, as per company policy.</li><li>Present a neat appearance in uniform as prescribed by the orientation booklet.</li><li>Follow the work schedule as posted, unless a change in schedule is arranged with the Store Manager.</li><li>Be familiar with and follow up on the company orientation booklet.</li><li>Ensures adherence to company policies.</li><li>Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Skills &amp; Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; High School Degree</li><li>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;University Degree is a plus</li><li>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Previous retail experience is a plus</li><li>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Customer service skills</li><li>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Fashion Enthusiasm</li><li>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;High level of integrity &amp; confidentiality </li><li>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Persuasion and negotiation skills</li><li>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Excellent communication Skills</li><li>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;High flexibility</li></ul>
