Restaurant General Manager
An exciting opportunity is available for a Restaurant General Manager, for a brand-newly renovated outlet at Four Seasons Alexandria at San Stefano. This is an opportunity to create impression and work from pre-opening of a new modern, Italian concept located on the hotel’s ground floor, scheduled to open soon.
We are looking for a passionate and experienced manager to partner with the hotel’s F&B leadership team and launch the outlet. Thereafter, to lead and manage all aspects of restaurant operations, to deliver sublime dining experiences and service excellence beyond expectations consistent with the Four Seasons reputation.

Located in the heart of Alexandria overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, Four Seasons Hotel Alexandria holds 154 spacious rooms, suites and beach villas designed by the renowned Pierre Yves-Rochon and is only a 10-minute walk from the Royal Jewelry Museum and 9 km from the Library of Alexandria.
The main complex of the hotel includes 10 outlets including restaurants and bars, meeting rooms, spa, indoor pool and gym.
Opposite the hotel, a long stretched, sandy beach with lush green landscaping unfolds the blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea. It is easily accessible by an under-passage from the hotel. The Beach facilities include 30 beach suites, an infinity seawater pool, a beach restaurant, gym, and kids area.
In addition, the Hotel launches a new project located on the Hotel’s private beach to complete its state-of-art complex on the shores of the Mediterranean. The 15 Beach Villas offer guests the opportunity to rent and stay in a comfortable setting while enjoying more space, privacy and exclusivity, alongside the full complement. With multiple options between one, two or three bedrooms, the villas are suitable for families and couples alike.
This is a senior role within F&B division and will be responsible & not limited to delivering the following:
• Develop the annual restaurant business plan, revenue targets and expense budget and present for review with the F&B management to ensure this is in line with The company policies.
• Monitor guest satisfaction reports and respond to feedback and complaints ensuring procedures are followed to preserve the restaurant’s and the company’s positive image.
• Monitor and forecast progress against the plan throughout the year and initiate corrective actions, if required, to drive optimal performance and achieve financial and other business targets.
• Ensure consistently high personalized service standards, good food quality and presentation, in line with guest expectations and Hotel standards.
• Develop and implement marketing, advertising, public and community relations programs; evaluating program results; identifying and tracking changing demands.
• Review reports on competitor activities and industry trends to ensure the restaurant concepts, services and menus deliver required business results.
• Ensure effective purchasing, stock control and food cost control, selecting good value high quality products in line with the Restaurant concept and budgets, and maintaining availability whilst minimizing waste and loss.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant providing guidance, encouraging teamwork and facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards and liaise with internal and external parties at the appropriate levels to ensure smooth flow of operations.
• Ensure compliance to all relevant Health, Safety and Environment management procedures and controls within a defined area of activity so that the Hotel provides world class and luxurious hospitality services to its guests.
• Recommend improvements to departmental policies, implement approved policies, processes, and procedures, and provide instructions to colleagues; monitor compliance so that work is carried out a consistent manner while delivering a quality service to guests and maintaining standards of excellence.
• Train and motivate the team with the aim that they develop and grow.
• Identification of opportunities for innovation and improvement initiatives, programs and projects considered as best practices, related to processes, service, product and productivity.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by tracking emerging trends in the restaurant industry, attending industry events, reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networks to stay up to date with international trends and to ensure the competitive advantage of the restaurant.

Job Requirement :
- Candidate should posses 2 – 3 years of relevant experience running a remarkable stand alone concept or a restaurant in well known 5 stars property.
- Possesses aptitude, management skills and upward mobility.
- Possesses excellent English, math and psychometric abilities Possesses business acumen, well developed guest PR skills and personal flair
- Has a well-developed interest in food and wines; has undergone professional training in food and Wine knowledge.
- Creative and hold a record of his own achievements & successful implementations.
