PURPOSE

Conducts property inspections on assigned projects and produces accurate inspection notes and valuation reports.

JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Consistently produces error free output and is concerned with maintaining standards of accuracy and quality including that of immediate colleagues.
  • Prepares written location and property description in the valuation reports.
  • Ensures that all reports and recommendations on reports and inspections comply with the RICS guidelines as amended from time to time by the RICS.
  • Develops an understanding of the residential market, trends, prices and rates to assist in valuation preparations.
  • Carries out other related duties as assigned from time to time.
  • Has the desire to help or serve internal or external customers and to meet or exceed expectations.
  • Self-motivated and sticks to the 24-hour deadlines required in mortgage valuation instructions.
  • Be able to produce written reports in English to present findings along with recommendation of Market Value
  • Be able to communicate ideas and solutions to problems.

QUALIFICATIONS,

  • Graduate with a desire to work in the valuation industry.
  • Relevant degree and/or willingness to work towards achieving it.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Real estate Valuation experience (1-2 years preferably)
  • Must be proficient in basic IT skills MS office, and basic understanding of a software similar to ValuePro.
