Join us and let’s get started.<br> <br><strong>Job Description<br></strong> <ul><li>Monitor the client’s programme or progress report</li> <li>Ensure the Client’s compliance with the Contract Documents.</li> <li>Inspect all workmanship and material.</li> <li>Coordinate the supply of vertical and horizontal controls for the Client’s.</li> <li>Make layout checks on line and grades.</li> <li>Coordination with other Clients.</li> <li>Maintain all file records on designated forms. These records include all reports on work force, equipment, progress, safety, etc.</li> <li>Review and approve the Client’s shop drawings.</li> <li>Locate, execute and interpret all soils and materials testing according to the provisions in the Contract Documents and Specifications.</li> <li>Responsible for the Contract and will not relieve the Clients of his responsibilities without authorization.</li> <li>Responsible for the final materials submittals and approval.</li> <li>Check and certify progress payments to the Clients.</li> <li>Check personnel, equipment and material costs for all Variation Orders and Change Orders required under the terms of the Contract.</li> <li>Review requests for additional compensation and time extension.</li> <li>Prepare Variation Orders for all ‘ <em>Additional</em> ’ and ‘ <em>New’</em> works.</li> <li>Preparation of the Monthly Report.</li> <li>Site Safety monitoring wherein the monitoring activities, meeting, reviews, safety violations, rectification measures, and accident reports are included in the Monthly Progress Report.</li> <li>When necessary, determine proper costs of additions or credits due to the Client and recommend appropriate action.</li> <li>Inspect safety conditions and inform the Clients of construction safety violations and follow up action to be taken.</li> <br></ul><strong>Qualifications<br></strong> <br>Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering<br> <br><strong>Additional Information<br></strong> <br><strong>Experience<br></strong> <ul><li>Minimum of 15years experience</li> <li>Experience on similar large scale projects related to Ports and Container Terminals within the Middle East and preferably in KSA.</li> <br></ul><strong>Specific Skills Required:<br></strong> <ul><li>Strong Construction supervision experiences in container terminals.</li> <li>Previous experience as Resident Engineer</li> <li>Well experienced in the construction of marine projects and container terminal.</li> <li>Ability to utilize modern computer software and survey equipment. High level of critical thinking skills.</li> <li>Good understanding of FIDIC Yellow Book</li> <li>Good understanding of Design and Build contract conditions</li> <li>Sound knowledge of marine, ports, civil, and utilities construction work in ports and container terminals.</li> <li>Expertise in Planning, Claim Resolution, Landscape and Irrigation</li> <li>Conversant in MS Office Applications</li> <li>Fully aware of procedures & requirements related to RTA eNOC’s system as well as local authority approvals.</li> <br></ul>With infrastructure investment accelerating worldwide, our services are in great demand, and there’s never been a better time to be at AECOM!
