Opening in 2004, Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar is part of a reciprocal effort with the Qatar Foundation to bring excellent American educational undergraduate programs to the Middle East. By bringing together a diverse group of people, we have benefited from the differing skill sets, experiences, and perspectives that each person brings.<p><br></p>We are seeking part time Research Associate for Business Administration in our Qatar Campus.<p><br></p>Core responsibilities include:<p><br></p><ul><li>Clean and store data for research project.</li><li>Analyze and visualize large amounts of data/information to discover and articulate trends and patterns.</li><li>Build statistical models and machine-learning algorithms.</li><li>Help in writing research papers.</li><li> Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or closely related field)</li><li> Proficient in Python or R and have very strong statistical understanding, as well as knowledge of dataset tools and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) tools.</li><li> Ability to work independently and excellent attention to detail</li><li> Basic level of Spanish is preferred</li></ul><p><br></p>Flexibility, excellence, and passion are vital qualities at the Qatar campus.
