Job Description
The Zaw research group in the Division of Science, New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit a research assistant to work on multiwavelength studies of active galactic nuclei (AGNs).<br><br>The successful applicant will reduce and analyze multiwavelength data and study AGN activity and star formation in galaxies. The candidate will work in a multidisciplinary environment consisting of PhD-level scientists, graduate students and undergraduate students.<br><br>Applicants must have a bachelorβs in physics, astrophysics, or related field. Prior research experience and ability to code are required. Candidates with knowledge of active galactic nuclei and experience with astrophysical data are preferred.<br><br>For consideration, applicants need to submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae with full publication list, statement of research interests and two letters of reference, all in PDF format.
