The purpose of the role is to ensure completeness and correctness of the project configuration, requirements and change documentation. Ensure Configuration is formalized and adequate at any time to deliver the configuration and change documentation to the stakeholders (customer, supplier, partners or project).<br><br>As a Requirements Management Lead you will ensure that the entire project team is meeting company objectives on Cost, Quality, and Time through globally standardized Requirements Management practices. You will also conduct both internal and external audits to ensure that all Requirements Management Policies and Directives are adhered to globally.<br><br><strong>Organisational Reporting<br><br></strong>Reports to Requirements & Configuration management manager<br><br><strong>Network & Links<br><br></strong>Internal: with all company’s departments (Design subsystem, project technical manager, safety deprtment, installation,…etc)<br><br><strong>Objectives<br><br></strong>Ensure the Configuration & Change Management process application<br><br>Define the roles, strategies and methods to apply for a full reference of changes as well as consistency and transparency of production processes in order to reduce the risks due to any gap compared to a beginning product/project/process;<br><br>Ensure that the Conf. Mgt stands over the Change Management process all through the product/project life cycle and records every useful information in a database for the Return of Experience (REX); for terms of use Ensure and provide KPIs periodically.<br><br>Ensure to the customer the change implementation during retrofit activity in order to the Configuration Level Plan.<br><br>Describe the activities in the requirements engineering process which are concerned with discovering requirements and analyzing requirements for incompleteness, inconsistency, relevance and practicality, as well as negotiating the final requirements for the system.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br></strong><ul><li>Identification, definition, and baselining of configuration items:</li><li>Managing release numbering</li><li>Managing product and project documentation areas</li><li>Setting up product and project requirements management areas</li><li>Baselining source, requirements, and documentation as integrated sets</li><li>Maintaining configuration items lists</li><li>Control of modifications</li><li>Participate in Change Control Board</li><li>Control of releases</li><li>Recording and reporting on status of configuration items</li><li>Apply the rules defined in the Configuration and Change Management Plan</li><li>Methodology and improvements including automation of processes where possible (together with DevOps)</li><li>Continuously improve way of working</li><li>Ensure that the requirements management global process is upheld;</li><li>Ensure that project requirements are defined and allocated appropriately to the various engineering and project management teams;</li><li>Perform requirements reviews and communicate to each requirement owner, and ensure targets are fulfilled;</li><li>Collaborate with the engineers to build the requirements specifications;</li><li>Ensure the accuracy and quality of traceability throughout the lifecycle of all requirements (from the Customer Specification, to the detailed design and test specifications, including all levels in between);</li><li>Gather key performance indicators (KPIs) from DOORS;</li><li>Prepare and deliver periodic reports on requirements status to the project core team;</li></ul> <strong><strong>Educational Requirements<br><br></strong></strong>BSc Degree in Engineering.<br><br><strong><strong>Desired Knowledge / Experience<br></strong></strong><ul><li>3-5 years of Total Experience</li><li>2-3 years of experience in a similar role</li><li>Project management background level depending on the complexity of the Project/Program,quality assurance or working experience in Configuration and Change Management/Requirements is desirable.</li><li>Good understanding of engineering processes and tools</li><li>Basic understanding of project engineering practices, including requirements, design, implementation and verification, code reviews and static analysis, testing (unit, sub-system)</li><li>Ability to communicate with all actors involved to produce efficient CCB preparation</li><li>Systematic, rigorous and organized, able to sort out different matters at concurrent time period.</li><li>pecialized or cross-functional knowledge</li><li>Desired competences: Communication, Driven for results, customer oriented, team player, influencing others, people accountable.</li><li>Knowledge of following tools is an asset : ClearQuest,AEC.</li></ul> <strong>Behavioural Skills / Competencies<br></strong><ul><li>Able to reconcile and mitigate conflicting interests</li><li>Able to forecast, organise and monitor events in order to meet Project targets</li><li>Strong relationship/analysis skills</li><li>Able to work as part of a team</li><li>Able to work with minimal supervision</li><li>Flexible</li><li>Able to promptly identify potential risks that could endanger Project success</li><li>Understand and accept different cultures</li><li>Language : English (written and spoken)<br><br></li></ul>Alstom is the leading company in the mobility sector, solving the most interesting challenges for tomorrow’s mobility.
