As such, we are looking for an Internal Medicine Registrar to join the team and provide exceptional healthcare across the region.

As an Internal Medicine Registrar with Taiba Hospital, you will be required to employ non-surgical methods and procedures to diagnose and treat medical conditions that affect your patients.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to;

  • Perform physical evaluations on adult patients who are seeking medical attention for injuries, illness or other medical concerns, under the supervision of aConsultant
  • Order screening tests and other measures that aid in the diagnostic process, and review reports, labs, x-rays, EKGs and all other screening methods
  • Customize a treatment plan unique to each patient’s symptoms and diagnosis, under the supervision of a Consultant or Specialist
  • Prescribe medication as part of a treatment plan and perform drug and disease utilization reviews on a regular basis to ensure quality treatment of patients and to avoid any drug and/or therapy conflicts
  • Attend regular meetings involving professionals who are a part of the health care team
  • Follow protocol set by the Head of the Department, adhering to medical ethics and standards, and provide recommendations in updating protocol if needed
  • Providing support and advice to patients receiving long-term care

Skills

To be successful in this role you will have the following:

  • Internal Medicine Registrar license issued by the Ministry of Health in Kuwait
  • Skills in providing long-term care of adults
  • Decision-making abilities when presented with patient complaints
  • Excellent communication skills, be able to empathize with patients
  • Flexibility in working hours
  • Attention to details 
  • Good Analytical skills in determining best treatment plans
  • Ability to use a computer and other office technology
