<p>The Valens Clinic is seeking an experienced and dedicated Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will possess a strong clinical background, a passion for patient care, and excellent team leadership abilities.</p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><p> </p><p>1. Patient Care: Provide exceptional, compassionate patient care, monitor vital signs, administer prescribed medications, assist with personal care tasks, and offer emotional support to patients and their families. Educating patients and family members on treatment and care plans, as well as answering their questions. Recording details and symptoms of patient medical history and current health </p><p> </p><p>2. Healthcare Coordination: Collaborate with our healthcare team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Participate in daily rounds, maintain accurate patient records, and promptly address any changes in a patient’s condition.</p><p> </p><p>3. Medical Procedures: Assist physicians during medical procedures, always ensuring patient comfort and safety. Administering medications and treatments, then monitoring patients for side effects and reactions. Operating and monitoring medical equipment. Drawing Blood, urine samples, and other body fluids for lab work. Perform routine procedures (vital signs monitoring, administering injections and filling in patient medical record). Provide instant medical care in emergencies.</p><p> </p><p>4. Staff Supervision and Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior nursing staff, promoting a conducive learning environment and fostering professional development.</p><p> </p><p>5. Administrative Duties: Contribute to maintaining accurate and confidential patient records, participate in departmental meetings, and uphold clinic policies and standards.</p><p> </p><p>6. Continuous development: Expand Knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences etc.</p><p> </p><p>Qualifications:</p><p>- Registered Nurse with valid licensure.</p><p>- Bachelorβs degree in nursing or related field.</p><p>- Minimum of five years of clinical nursing experience preferably in mental health </p><p>- Proven leadership experience.</p><p>- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</p><p>- Proficient in electronic health record systems.</p><p><span>- DHA licensure or confirmed eligibility </span></p><p> </p>
