The Regional Trade Marketing Supervisor (South) is responsible for the implementation of the merchandising activities within a specific region in Tunisia. She/he must ensure that the marketing strategies are implemented successfully on the field, follow-up product availability within point of sales and ensure permanent visibility of JTI products.
The Regional Trade Marketing Supervisor (South) role is to ensure that all area operational objectives (route plan, cycle plan execution, Trade incentives, Loyalty programs, etc.) are achieved through their direct sub-ordinates (Merchandisers).
To achieve this, the Regional Trade Marketing Supervisor will be responsible to supervise and monitor the individual and team execution of the operational KPI’s. Additionally to develop, motivate and enable the team to achieve their KPI’s through on the job coaching, and address any underperforming individuals where necessary.
The Regional Trade Marketing Supervisor will be also responsible to:
- Recruit new customers.
- Performance management (KPI tracking, development plans, etc.).
- Set individual Objectives for their team members.
- Identify opportunities and threats in their area and feed back into Cycle Plan.
- Motivation by providing clear instructions.
- Training execution.
- Coordinate the implementation sell out plans at POS.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Trade Marketing & Merchandising activities:
- Monitor & follow-up the merchandising activities in the assigned region within Tunisia. Plan and develop merchandising strategies and coordinate with regional teams to deploy, monitor & follow up the activities, in line with the company strategy and goals (achieving volume, distribution and routing targets).
- Ensure that marketing strategies are implemented successfully on the field. Track merchandising material in the field and upgrade regularly.
- Follow-up product availability within POS and ensure permanent visibility of JTI products in POS to achieve targets and key metrics.
- Monitor key clients and Flagship stores.
- Coordinate the implementation of 121 consumer engagement plans at POS.
Team management:
- Create the routings of merchandisers per areas to optimize visits.
- Monitor & control merchandisers daily visits at POS.
Reporting and KPIs:
- Track and analyze KPIs to anticipate product needs and control stocks and inventory.
- Provide weekly market status reports with details of competitor activity and business performance in the region.
Stakeholders’ management:
- Close follow-up with vendors to track the visibility equipment installation.
- Maintain close contact with POS owners.
- Coordinate with the Key Accounts for a better product distribution.
PROFILE:
- University Graduate or professional education (Level BAC+3).
- 3-5 years of Sales & Trade Marketing experience in a FMCG company- preferably a multinational that has a Trade Marketing approach.
- Fluent in French and Arabic. English is a plus.
- Good understanding of Sales & Distribution.
- Experience in implementing trade programs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Power point).
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Excellent team leadership skills.
- Good analytical skills.
- Driving license.
