By joining this team, you will have the opportunity to work in a multinational, multicultural and diverse organization.<p><br></p><strong>Purpose of the role</strong><p><br></p>Provide expert knowledge and support for the cyclone product line, from a process, mechanical, operational, maintenance and R&D perspective. Increase market share by pursuing new market opportunities and promote the retention of aftermarket business within the region. Continuously improve the technical competence of colleagues and customers within the region through training activities, technical papers, etc.<p><br></p><strong><u>Your Responsibilities</u></strong><p><br></p>Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:<p><br></p><ul><li>Serve as the cyclone product expert in the region.</li><li>Participate in the development of go to market strategies.</li><li>Work with the regional sales teams to promote cyclone products/services in the region to all relevant customers.</li><li>Work with global product line managers (GPLM), global service line managers (GSLM), product sales, and internal sales support to develop winning proposals.</li><li>Provide training and guidance to customers, sales, and field service.</li><li>Travel with sales to customer sites and engineering firms to troubleshoot, consult on system design, support start-ups as necessary, and ensure proper aftermarket support is in place, including warranty/quality issue resolution.</li><li>Provides won/lost reporting and customer feedback to GPLMs including regional market intelligence, competition activities etc.</li><li>Participate in the cyclone product design, improvement opportunities and new product development with GPLM/GSLM.</li><li>Drives process testing for customers in region with GPLM/GSLM</li><li>Support the launch of new cyclone products/services in region in collaboration with others</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>W</strong><strong>ha</strong><strong>t you bring</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>NHD, BSC or B-Eng in Engineering</li><li>At least 12 years’ experience within the mining & mineral processing industry.</li><li>At least 8 years’ experience in the cyclone product line.</li><li>At least 5 years’ experience in a business development role</li><li>Effective verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in other languages, spoken by Customers in the region, will be advantageous.</li><li>Knowledge of cyclone selection, sizing, and operating parameters </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, co-workers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.</li><li>Proven negotiation and influencing skills – both external and internal.</li><li>Team player, able to balance multiple team memberships. </li><li>Good organization, multitasking and time management skills</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>What We Offer</u></strong><p><br></p><em>As an equal opportunity employer, FLSmidth embraces diversity and equality by promoting an environment of inclusion.
