Your primary responsibility will be to analyze and assess healthcare needs, identify gaps in service delivery, and propose innovative solutions to enhance the overall health and well-being of the community. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, administrators, government agencies, and community organizations to create sustainable and efficient healthcare strategies<p><br></p><strong> Key Accountabilities & Activities: </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Needs Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments of the region’s healthcare needs by analyzing population demographics, health trends, disease prevalence, and socioeconomic factors. </li><li> Strategic Planning: Develop and implement regional health plans that align with the health authority’s objectives and adhere to government regulations. These plans should address existing healthcare challenges, anticipate future demands, and promote health equity. </li><li> Resource Allocation: Identify and allocate appropriate resources, including financial, personnel, and infrastructure, to support the implementation of health initiatives and programs. </li><li> Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics and evidence-based research to evaluate the effectiveness of existing healthcare programs and make data-driven recommendations for improvement. </li><li> Community Engagement: Foster strong relationships with community stakeholders to understand their needs, concerns, and expectations regarding healthcare services. Actively involve the community in the planning process to ensure inclusivity and responsiveness. </li><li> Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare providers, administrators, and government agencies to promote interagency cooperation, streamline service delivery, and identify areas of collaboration to optimize healthcare outcomes. </li><li> Health Promotion: Advocate for preventive health measures and health promotion strategies to reduce the burden of preventable diseases and improve the overall health status of the population. </li><li> Policy Development: Stay informed about relevant healthcare policies, regulations, and best practices, and contribute to the development of regional policies that align with national and provincial health priorities. </li><li> Monitoring and Evaluation: Develop and implement performance metrics to assess the success and impact of healthcare initiatives, and use the findings to continuously improve and refine strategies. </li><li> Crisis Preparedness: Contribute to the development of emergency preparedness and response plans to ensure the region is equipped to handle health crises effectively. </li><li> Support in the management and delivery of sector projects, as required, </li><li> Support in the preparation reports for leadership on the current and forecasted progress/completion of key assets and initiatives, with executive levels insights on key assets, requirements, and risks </li><li> Plan and lead assigned tasks and projects, and proactively monitor and mitigate risks </li><li> Provide periodic reports regarding project progress, challenges, risks, and mitigation plans </li><li> Actively take part of and contribute in workshops and activities related to health system design activities </li><li> Support on administrative tasks as required for contract management </li><li> Assist in developing scope of work documents to support new contract establishment or renewal of existing contracts </li><li> Support in monitoring and evaluation of contract delivery and project performance </li><li> Support in all external communications activities (incl. internal/external marketing of the sector, maintaining promotional materials, developing strategic communications, etc.) </li><li> Support in sector or division meetings, preparing meeting inputs (identifying discussion points, etc) and gathering input and feedback during and after meeting as it relates to strategy, planning, risks, etc. </li><li> Collate stakeholders’ feedback on issues, challenges and unmet requirements and develop action plans </li><li> Act as a role model for the sector in interaction with other sectors and departments </li><li> Assist team to perform their operations in accordance with set policies and procedures </li><li> Promote a high-performance working environment embracing NEOM’s values </li></ul><p><br></p><strong> Background, Skills & Qualifications: </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Proven experience in healthcare planning, policy development, or public health administration. </li><li> Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable plans. </li><li> Knowledge of healthcare systems, health policy, and healthcare delivery models. </li><li> Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey information to diverse audiences. </li><li> Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and build consensus around healthcare initiatives. </li><li> Proficiency in data analysis tools, project management software, and Microsoft Office Suite. </li><li> Understanding of ethical and legal considerations in healthcare planning and policy development. </li><li> A bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, applied mathematics, Finance/economics, Management information systems or Business Administration, Medicine, (or equivalent) is required </li><li> Master’s in public health, business administration, medicine or related topics is beneficial</li></ul>
