NEOM will be a hub for innovation, where established global businesses and emerging players can research, incubate, and commercialize groundbreaking technologies to accelerate human progress.<p><br></p>As the Regional Health Planning Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading the strategic planning and development of healthcare services within our regions of NEOM. You will play a critical role in analyzing healthcare needs, coordinating with stakeholders, and designing effective health programs and initiatives to enhance the well-being of the community. Your leadership and expertise will guide the regional health planning team in creating comprehensive and sustainable healthcare strategies.<p><br></p><strong> Key Accountabilities &amp; Activities: </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive regional health plan aligned with the health authority’s mission, goals, and government regulations. This plan should encompass short-term and long-term healthcare objectives to address existing challenges and anticipate future healthcare demands. </li><li> Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of the region’s healthcare needs by analyzing demographic data, health indicators, epidemiological trends, and community input. Use this information to identify gaps in healthcare services and prioritize areas for improvement. </li><li> Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of health planners, analysts, and specialists. Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the team’s effective functioning, professional development, and collaboration. </li><li> Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with healthcare professionals, administrators, government agencies, community organizations, and other stakeholders to ensure that regional health planning initiatives are inclusive, responsive, and represent diverse perspectives. </li><li> Resource Management: Oversee the allocation of resources, including budgetary considerations, staffing, and infrastructure requirements, to support the implementation of healthcare programs and projects. </li><li> Data Analysis and Research: Utilize data analytics, research findings, and evidence-based practices to inform decision-making, assess the effectiveness of healthcare programs, and identify areas for improvement. </li><li> Policy Development: Stay updated with healthcare policies, regulations, and best practices at the regional, national, and international levels. Contribute to the development of regional policies that align with broader health priorities and address specific regional needs. </li><li> Performance Monitoring and Evaluation: Establish performance metrics and evaluation frameworks to assess the impact of healthcare initiatives. Use these evaluations to make data-driven decisions, identify successes and challenges, and refine strategies accordingly. </li><li> Health Promotion: Advocate for and support the implementation of health promotion and disease prevention initiatives to improve the overall health and well-being of the regional population. </li><li> Crisis Preparedness: Develop and participate in the formulation of emergency preparedness and response plans to effectively handle health crises and ensure the region’s resilience. </li><li> Support in development of structures and processes for monitoring of projects and activities </li><li> Independently lead and deliver assigned activities and projects </li><li> Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation plans </li><li> Provide periodic reports regarding project progress, challenges, risks, and mitigation plans </li><li> Actively take part of and contribute to workshops and activities related to asset, equipment and digital infrastructure development </li><li> Contribute to development of scope of work documents </li><li> Support in internal and external communications activities </li><li> Actively participate in sector and cross sector meetings and initiate meeting structures for effective interaction with stakeholders related to assignments </li><li> Manage stakeholders’ feedback on issues, challenges and unmet requirements and develop action plans </li><li> Act as a role model for the sector in interaction with other sectors and departments </li><li> Lead by example, supervise and coach team members and colleagues to perform at their best </li><li> Promote a high-performance working environment embracing NEOM’s values </li></ul><p><br></p><strong> Background, Skills &amp; Qualifications: </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> A minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare planning, strategic management, or public health administration. </li><li> Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. </li><li> Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of interpreting complex data and making informed decisions. </li><li> Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare systems, health policy, and healthcare delivery models. </li><li> Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to engage stakeholders effectively. </li><li> Proficiency in data analysis tools, project management software, and Microsoft Office Suite. </li><li> Familiarity with ethical and legal considerations in healthcare planning and policy development. </li><li> Master’s degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Health Planning, or a related field.</li></ul>
