The company was founded on May 29, 1933 and is headquartered in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.</p> <p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p> <p>We are currently seeking a Refinery and Petrochemical Integration and Optimization Specialist to become a valuable member of the company’s Liquid to Chemicals Development division, within the LTC Readiness and the company Interface. As the Integration and Optimization Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to ensure seamless integration across various LTC projects and individual units. Your focus will be on identifying and capitalizing on integration and optimization opportunities to enhance the overall project economics. By closely analyzing and aligning the different aspects of the LTC initiatives, you will play a critical role in achieving operational excellence and maximizing the efficiency and profitability of the projects.</p> <p>Your expertise and contributions will be vital in driving successful outcomes for the company, as well as enabling the organization to achieve its goals in the highly competitive and dynamic refining and petrochemical industry.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Improving LTC program projects economics.</li> <li>Addressing opportunities aspects relating to integrating the hydrocarbons transferred between a refinery and a petrochemicals facility, at different levels including within the same complex and/or with other neighboring facilities.</li> <li>Optimizing Refinery Process Flow & Fuels Blending.</li> <li>Optimizing Steam Cracking Feed Selection, Process Flow, and Configuration.</li> <li>Optimizing Aromatics Feed, Products & Recovery.</li> <li>Running LP cases and Process Simulation.</li> <li>Indicating process interactions at the Refinery/Chemical Plants Interface.</li> <li>Conducting Techno-Economic Evaluations.</li> <li>Issuing performance reports.</li> <li>Conducting KPI and comparisons as required.</li> <li>Undertaking other duties as determined by the manager and director.</li> <li>Conducting evaluation of new technologies.</li> <li>Being aware of technology developments in process plants. Performing evaluation and approval of technology developments to Central Engineering.</li> <li>Supporting the arrangement and facilitation of technical knowledge exchange workshops with process technology licensors and Global Manufacturing facilities.</li> <li>Participating in hazard operability (HAZOP) and safety integrity level (SIL) studies as required.</li><br></ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Process Engineering, preferably Chemical Engineering, from a recognized and approved program. An advanced degree is preferred.</li> <li>15+ years of working experience in refining and petrochemicals process units, including at least 5 years in integration and optimization.</li> <li>Strong interpersonal and speaking skills.</li> <li>Cultural awareness with pronounced customer service skills.</li> <li>Full English language proficiency.</li> <li>Familiarity with the following software: LP Simulation, MS Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.</li></ul>
