About the job Reefer Technician Overview
Reefer technicians perform technical tasks to aid in the manufacture, assembly, construction, operation, maintenance and repair of freezing installations, air-conditioning and ice machines, components and mechanical equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform reefer container plugging / unplugging operations
- Ensure smooth operations and safety compliance
- Take safety precautions to avoid accident/incident possibilities
- Prior to the commencement of operation, all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and any other necessary safety gears must be worn
- (PPE: Company Uniform, Safety Helmet, Body Harness, Safety Shoes)
- Prepare in advance the necessary equipment necessary for the container plugging / unplugging operation
- Adhering to Standard Operating Procedures and complying with safety rules and regulation in the operational areas
Requirements/Qualification
- FILIPINO only
- Physically fit
- Able to read and speak in English
- Willing to work rotating day and night shifts
- Interests to learn & grow in Port Operation Sector
