If you enjoy creating great recipes, you have a knack for simplifying the cooking process and you enjoy styling and taking appetizing images, this could be the role for you!</p><p><br></p><p>You will be responsible for developing recipes: writing, testing, styling, and taking the images that are printed on our recipe cards and displayed on the menu online. You will work with a growing team of professional recipe developers. You will contribute to concepts and help drive the seasonality of ingredients and themes into the development work.</p><p><br></p><p>You will receive and provide feedback through peer testing. You will share your knowledge, technique and culinary preferences with the team. You will work closely with your team to understand customer requirements and be able to participate in projects by testing ingredients, methods and new processes. This is your chance to get your recipes out in the world and have a significant and direct impact on the lives of our growing customer base.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Mission</strong></p><p><br></p><p>The mission of the recipe developer is to create exciting recipes that are varied and simple and delight our customers.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Accountabilities, Goal KPIs, and Outcomes</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>New/updated recipes: create an average of 60 recipes per quarter that adhere to our cost, structure, and quality guidelines</li><li>Style and photograph: create appealing recipe images</li><li>Peer testing: test team member’s recipes and provide structured and actionable feedback</li><li>Recipe card development: participate in the read-through and recipe improvement process while pushing for accuracy and ease of use</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What You Need For This Position</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Strong cooking experience – you have a degree or diploma in cooking/kitchen management</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Food Sciences or related field</li><li>Excellent written English and command of the English language</li><li>Passion for food: knowledge of food trends and international cuisine types</li><li>Good understanding of nutritional requirements</li><li>Experience with:</li><li>Cooking independently</li><li>Food photography</li><li>Food styling</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Behavioral Competencies </strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li><strong>Passionate about food:</strong> Thinks and breathes good food. Spends free time trying and cooking new recipes. Has an interest in the aesthetic side of food and regularly snaps pictures of their creations.</li><li><strong>Customer centric: </strong>Understands what people like and want to order and eat.
