<p><strong>KEY DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul><li>To manage assigned projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. Ensure provision of support to the Project Controls Specialist, Project Manager, and Business Development Manager.</li><li>Ensure preparation, tracking &amp; submission of invoices for payment receipt.</li><li>Review Contracts, negotiate terms (Payment terms, delivery period, liability, and etc) &amp; Optimize Costs</li><li>Determine material quantities from road layouts, shop drawings &amp; AS-BUILT drawings, preparing documentation such as Bills Of Quantity and Tenders, utilizing AUTOCAD as required.</li><li>Ensure cost control, planning, forecasting, and estimating material prices.</li><li>Conduct measurement &amp; valuations – including value engineering and management.</li><li>Conduct Cost Benefit Analysis, Feasibility studies &amp; Detailed Risk Assessment</li><li>Prepare management reports and required documentation (estimates, budgets, dashboards, Business Development Reports, etc.).</li><li>Ensure Dispute resolution and follow up on payments and settlements with clients.</li><li>Prepare project funding sources and submit bids.</li><li>Prepare project progress payment invoices with supporting documents.</li><li>Generate the company monthly revenue based on the actual work done.</li><li>Closely monitor project payables &amp; receivables.</li><li>Follow-up with relevant clients for receivable payments and provide clarification as required.</li><li>Review sub-contractor and supplier invoices and follow up for release of their payments.</li><li>Prepare costing sheet in coordination with the Project Manager &amp; Business Development Manager for new projects and Tenders.</li><li>Prepare take off quantities from IFC, Shop and AS Built drawings.</li><li>Prepare project cash flow in &amp; out for projects.</li><li>Closely monitor project guarantees and insurances for their amendments &amp; renewals.</li><li>Prepare cost claims in coordination with PM &amp; Planning engineer.</li><li>Prepare Bills Of Quantity &amp; provide project reconciliation</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE &amp; SKILLS:</strong></p><ul><li>Civil engineering degree or diploma</li><li>Above 5 years of relevant experience</li><li>Strong communication and negotiation skills</li><li>IT skills e.g. proficient with Microsoft software</li><li>Excellent Numeracy/Math skills.</li><li>Budget and financial management</li><li>Industry knowledge and understanding</li><li>Good understanding of the technical conventions and engineering standards within Qatar and GCC.</li></ul>
