Job Description: Junior Quantitative Surveyor (Administrative Focus)
My client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join the team as a Junior Quantitative Surveyor. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong quantitative background and will be primarily responsible for handling various administrative tasks related to survey projects. Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the survey team, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and maintaining project documentation.
- Invoicing and Payments: Process invoices, track payments, and ensure timely payment to vendors and survey participants. Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to ensure accurate and efficient financial transactions.
- Data Management: Assist in the management and organization of survey data. Ensure data integrity, perform data cleaning and validation, and maintain accurate records.
- Survey Coordination: Collaborate with survey teams to coordinate survey projects, including scheduling surveys, sending out invitations, and monitoring response rates.
- Vendor Management: Assist in identifying and selecting vendors for survey-related services. Maintain vendor relationships and ensure timely delivery of services.
- Reporting and Documentation: Assist in preparing reports and documentation related to survey projects. Summarize findings, compile data, and contribute to the creation of client deliverables.
- Quality Control: Assist in quality control processes to ensure accurate and reliable survey data. Review survey questionnaires, data entry, and other project-related materials for accuracy and completeness.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains in survey operations and administrative workflows. Propose and implement solutions to enhance productivity and data quality.
Skills
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, economics, engineering, or a related discipline. A strong academic background is preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a quantitative or research-oriented environment, is beneficial.
Administrative Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in administrative tasks such as scheduling, invoicing, and documentation management.
Analytical Thinking: Ability to think analytically and interpret quantitative data. Familiarity with statistical concepts and methodologies is a plus.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with team members, clients, and vendors.
Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Willingness to learn and contribute to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work efficiently under pressure.
Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Familiarity with survey software, data management systems, and statistical software is a plus.
