Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Quality Control Manager to join our organization. As a Quality Control Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing quality control processes and procedures to ensure the highest level of product quality and customer satisfaction. Your primary objective will be to establish and maintain quality standards, conduct inspections and audits, and drive continuous improvement in our quality management systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Establish and communicate quality control objectives and performance metrics to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of products, processes, and systems to identify and address quality issues or non-conformities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve quality and prevent recurrence of issues.
  • Monitor and analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  • Lead investigations into customer complaints or product failures, coordinating with relevant departments to determine root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Ensure adherence to quality control standards during the production and manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct supplier quality assessments and audits to evaluate and monitor the quality of incoming materials and components.
  • Develop and deliver quality training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of employees regarding quality control processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and update quality control documentation, including standard operating procedures, work instructions, and quality manuals.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and regulatory requirements related to quality control and incorporate best practices into the organization’s quality management systems.
  • Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization, promoting awareness and engagement at all levels.

Skills

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in the same field, with at least 2 years of experience in the same position.
  • University degree in the same field or equivalent.
  • Excellent managerial and leadership skills to effectively lead and coordinate quality control activities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders at various levels.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify root causes, develop solutions, and drive process improvements.
  • Ethical mindset with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and integrity.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools, such as statistical process control (SPC), Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and standards, such as ISO 9001.
  • Experience in conducting inspections, audits, and investigations to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Proficient in data analysis and interpretation, with the ability to use relevant software and tools.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards related to quality control.
