Job Description

As a Quality Assurance Specialist at Tamatem, you will be responsible for testing all features, functional, non-functional, and localization of assigned games, including performing daily cycles/smoke tests and user acceptance tests, documenting game bugs, analyzing and reviewing discrepancies, and verifying fixes are implemented.

You will:

  • Track bug life cycle workflows: test, initiate, review, investigate, update, and confirm resolution of
    identified issues.
  • Create test cases based: report game bugs including complete steps, identification of root cause, and expected results into appropriate bug tracking software.
  • Perform focused creative testing on gameplay-related issues and identify game bugs.
  • Contribute constructive gameplay feedback on current and/or new features.
  • Conduct automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by developers is fit for purpose
  • Work closely with the developers to ensure that bugs are fixed based on test case results to maintain quality and accuracy.
  • Identify non-show-stopper bugs from severe bugs.
  • Identify weaknesses in game design.
  • Monitor and play competitors’ games on a regular basis.
  • Breakdown competitor games’ features that may have a positive impact on our games.
  • Evaluate and test potential games to be published.
  • Participate in requirement reviews in order to write and help others write test cases.
  • Monitor risk-management procedures, and maintain problem logs for identifying and reporting issues to management and product development.
  • Write and maintain test plans, test environments, test cases, and manual test scripts, test tools, and track defects
  • Make recommendations for improvement to enhance process efficiency, quality and customer experience·
  • Create training materials and operating manuals
  • Document quality assurance activities and create audit reports
  • Train, develop and supervise Representative-level employee
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
