Job Description

<p>Quality Assurance Engineer<strong>gathers, interprets, and uses complex data to develop actionable testing steps</strong>that will improve processes ,optimize results, in order produce high quality products.<br><br></p><p>The role combines Quality assurance skills with high analytical end-to-end testing skills.<br><br></p><ul><li>Performing requirements analysis.</li><li>Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.</li><li>Effectively communicating insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.</li><li>Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.</li><li>Performing user acceptance testing.</li><li>Performing Quality Assurance Activities</li><li>Managing projects testing, developing testing plans, and monitoring performance.</li><li>Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint</li><li>Design and develop test automation using internal and opensource tools &amp; infrastructure.</li><li>Develop testing strategy, plans, estimates, and schedule, to support projects and product releases.</li><li>Design, create and maintain testing framework(s) as needed.</li><li>Track the development process of the product from start to finish.</li><li>Collaborate with software engineers to understand product architecture and features and build code in a clean and testable manner.</li><li>Execute end to end front end testing and backend BDD testing.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT (related field) or equivalent work experience.</li><li>Mid-level years of software QA experience.</li><li>Experience in writing test plans, test automation, and test cases.</li><li>Strong experience testing RESTful APIs (Postman, RESTAssured, ARC etc.)</li><li>Experience with functional UI test automation frameworks like Selenium and Applitools.</li><li>Experience with app test automation frameworks like Appium.</li><li>Experience writing E2E tests (with Cypress) and writing BDD tests with Cucumber</li><li>Certified Scrum Master or experience in Agile process and iterative development<br><br></li></ul><strong>Additional Information<br><br></strong><p><strong>Key skills <br><br></strong></p><ul><li>Critical thinking and problem-solving skills</li><li>Attention to detail</li><li>Teamwork skills</li><li>Written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Interpersonal skills</li><li>Flexibility</li><li>Adaptability</li><li>Initiative</li></ul>
