The QC Inspector is responsible for the content of the Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and project quality plan according to customer’s and Flowserve’s specifications and international standards. Besides, the QC Inspector is responsible for defining, advising and controlling all project required QC documents. The QC Inspector reports directly to the QC Supervisor/Manager.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities:<br></strong><ul><li>Conducting valve testing after assembly e.g. Hydrostatic shell test, Functional test and Hydrostatic seat test.</li><li>Perform dimensional and visual inspection on final product and in-process inspection.</li><li>Ensure the product perform as per standard procedure and check functions in a satisfactory manner.</li><li>Ensure to use calibrated instrument on testing process.</li><li>Record the results on the traveler and sign off the report for release to next process. QA passed sticker to be on the product after successful testing 6.Maintain high level of housekeeping.</li></ul> 7.Coordinate with Quality Engineers, production and maintenance on product that fails testing, machine failure and improvement suggestion.<br><ul><li>Comply with SHEA policy and report policy violation and hazard. Has authority to stop work if there is unsafe act or condition.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Requirements:<br></strong><ul><li>HS Diploma / GED and 3-5 years relevant experience</li><li>Knowledge of the established quality standards, laws and regulations of national and international authorities</li><li>Must have knowledge of inspection equipment generally found in machining, assembly and test operations</li><li>Effective utilization of CMMs is a plus</li><li>Flexible, eager to learn, accurate, analytical with positive, can-do attitude</li><li>Flexibility and willingness to travel</li><li>Good interpersonal, communication, negotiation, analytical and presentation skills</li><li>Problem solving skills</li><li>Passed visual test on Near vision acuity minimum Jaegar 1 or greater, colour vision and shades of gray.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Req ID</strong> : R-6523<br><br><strong>Job Family Group</strong> : Operations<br><br><strong>Job Family</strong> : OP Quality Assurance<br><br>EOE including Disability/Protected Veterans.
