Job Description
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials
- Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.
- Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.
- Responsible for the inspection of claims orders to ensure they meet product and customer requirements prior to shipping.
- Monitor or observe operations to ensure that they meet production standards
- Report inspection and test data
- Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs.
- Suggest innovative simple process to assure the right quality to customer
- Ensuring vendor quality through observing the incoming materials and auditing, advising the vendor to ensure the right quality.
- Carry out any other task as assigned by the reporting manager.
- Perform any other work assigned by immediate supervisor.
Education Qualification, Work Experience & Skills:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Technology/Engineering, Diploma.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in quality control a similar organization preferably with Middle East experience.
- Strong knowledge of implementing quality control programs in a project based environment.
- Expert knowledge of recognized QC standards
- Having knowledge of Steel Fabrication, Painting and installation of Steel Structures
